Trying to walk up the down escalator

Is there an area of your life where you have to work way too hard to get the tiniest of wins?

It's like you're trying to walk up an escalator that's going down.

It's annoying at best, but it can really get you down. Why is it so hard to succeed? It's likely that your subconscious programs don't support your goals.

Your beliefs and subconscious programs come from past experiences, mostly during the first 7 years of life. As an example, take someone who grew up hearing a parent complain about tax cheats and dodgy deals. That may have resulted in a limiting belief, such as "Rich people are bad". It's beliefs like these that can block and sabotage your attempts to accumulate wealth.

It may seem silly, or unlikely that you could have beliefs like these. But remember, we're talking about the subconscious mind, which means below the level of your conscious awareness.

The processing power of the subconscious mind is a million times more powerful than that of the conscious mind. So if you're trying to get something that your subconscious beliefs and programs don't support, no wonder it's a struggle.

The programs act as the escalator, pulling you back whenever you try to move forward. If only you could change the direction, things would suddenly get a lot easier.

But how do you do it? You don't have the key to the controls. Until now.

Have a think about what you believe about the areas of life in which you struggle. Try to be as open and curious as possible, and see what comes up. If you discover any limiting beliefs, imagine what would become available to you if the escalator started moving in the direction of your goals and desires.
